ABOUT THE BRIDE
Jenifer was born in Washington State and moved 30 times during her lifetime. She has lived in Virginia and North Carolina before moving to Florida. She lived here with her mother, Ree and stepfather, Robert and helped raise her neice Ashley until she was about 7 years old. Her family mainly consists of her sister, Chryssa, John (Chryssa's hubby!); her niece and nephews: Shane, Greg, Ashley & Joey (in order even!) along with Shane's family and Jen's step dad Rob live in Candler, North Carolina. Jenifer loves her dog Maverick, spending time with her friends, singing, line dancing, reading and once upon a time, loved softball.
ABOUT THE GROOM
Dennis was born in the ghetto and raised in the hood. He lived in Fort Lauderdale most of his life with his mom, Kathy, sister Kelly & brothers Joe & Rich. Den did a brief stint in Mississippi while deciding what he wanted to do with his life. Softball is Dennis's life and he loves his neice, Kelsie (our flower girl, pictured her with her "Uncle Denny") and nephew, Tyler, more than anything else in the world. Most of Den's family is in Fort Lauderdale and he tries very hard to see them once a week on Fridays when he plays softball down south.
THE STORY OF DENIFER
Dennis and Jenifer met through E-Harmony. Both had been discouraged in prior relationships and were about ready to give up. Dennis saw Jenifer and sent her a communication request. Jenifer saw that Dennis was from Fort Lauderdale, and almost said no to the communication request, because she didn't want to date someone who lived so far away. But something about Den's smile, changed her mind. :)
After a month of communicating on E-Harmony and over the phone, Dennis met Jenifer at the Sawgrass mall after offering to pick up Geta's tickets to Disney on Ice (since the girls were running late... as usual). They spent the night texting each other while both were SUPPOSED to be doing other things. They met up at Ihop with Geta and Meghan and spent hours talking.
The couple was inseparable from the beginning and soon after that, Dennis moved in with Jenifer and her roommates. A few months later, the couple found Maverick online and knew he had to be a part of their family. Maverick is the most wonderful pomeranian, he is our baby boy... and we can't wait to give him a human brother or sister a year or so after our wedding!
Dennis and Jenifer enjoy taking vacations to North Carolina to visit Jenifer's family, to the Keys and the Bahamas to do a little snorkling or Scuba Diving (and running away screaming from Sharks, ok so that's just Jen...).
Early this year, Den and Jen purchased a house in Port Saint Lucie and have been working diligently into making it a home. The couple has been together for 4 years and Dennis proposed to Jenifer on New Years Eve.
