7.3.10 - Flower Girl Dress
Finally found a dress for Kelsie! I was really trying to keep the dress cost down. I found one that is only about $30. I hope the color is close!! I can't wait to see it on her!
6.27.10 - Bridesmaid Lunch & Bouquets
Had lunch today with the lovely Megan & Geta. They are so sweet, I was planning on treating them... but they wouldn't hear of it. We were supposed to work on assembling invitations, but someone (me... ) screwed up and didn't finish printing them! So we tried on my dress on last time to see if it worked with the veil (and if it still fit) and then we worked on finishing the bouquets. They are beautiful!! Pics under DIY Flowers.
5.28.10 - Bridal Shower Inserts
I created some inserts for the Bridal Shower Invitations that Geta will not let me see yet. :) Inserts under "Paper, Projects & Recipes - DIY Paper."
Geta also booked an AWESOME Clubhouse for the shower. I wish July would hurry up and get here. It's gonna be sooo much fun! Pics under "Par-tays-7.31.10-Bridal Shower"

5.22.10 - A Piece of Cake = YUM
We did it! We found our cake artist! Elena really and truly is an artist. She was awesome from the second we walked in and her cake is to die for. OMG I can't wait to taste it at the wedding!! A SUPER HUMONGO GINORMOUS Thank You To Geta... I am constantly amazed by how thoughtful you are. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!
5.20.10 - Flowers & Cake
I got my UPS package with my flowers today! YAY! I tore into the package immediatley and started playing. So much fun! Let me tell you. I think they are beautiful and I will be very happy once I can go home and play with them!
Also, set up cake tasting appointments for this weekend!!! So excited to get to try different cake combinations! Dennis and Geta are coming with me to try some cake. Who's it gonna be?

5.19.10 - Guestbook - Sign It!
Please?!? Weebly didn't have a pre-made guest book, but I created one. If you want one for your page... Ask me how I did it!
5.15.10 - Dresses, Tuxes & Flowers - Oh My!
Got a call last week that Geta & Ashley's dresses are in! HURRAY! So Dennis and I went down to Alfred Angelo today and picked them up. They are BEAUTIFUL! I almost don't want to give them to the girls so I can keep them and just look at them whenever I want!
Talked Den into looking at a few other options at the Mens Warehouse (which is conveniently next door to Alfred Angelo. So far we have tried on a sand colored suit, a grey suit and a black tux. Pix can be found in the Groom Attire section.
Decided on silk flowers. Went on afloral.com. Whipped out my credit card. Waiting patiently. NOT!

I FINALLY found the paper for my programs! YAY! They look BEAUTIFUL! Gonna buy it wholesale and start working on them in July/August! I have mock-ups in my DIY section! Check em out!
4.30.10 - Knottie Get Together
I went to my first "Knottie G2G" with some of my friends from the South Florida Message Boards on The Knot. We went to PF Changs and Blue Martini. I had a great time and got to talk Bride to others who speak the same language! I met some new friends and can't wait for the next one.
4.24.10 - Engagement Photo Shoot
& Engagement Party
Oh my goodness! What a fun day today was! First off we had our engagement photo shoot which was so much fun. We had a blast and I CAN'T WAIT to see how the photo's turned out.
Robin, Eva & Jessica threw Den & I an Engagement Party today which was amazing. I can't believe how lucky I am to have these wonderful women as my friends now. Lots of our friends and family showed up to celebrate with us and everyone had a great time. Pictures should be up soon!

We found our photographer today! We are so excited and can't wait for our engagement session. Pictures coming soon!
3.1.10 - All About The Paper
I bought our wedding invitations, rsvp cards and thank you cards today! I can't wait to get started on these! I am printing them all myself... Wish Me Luck!
2.20.10 - Bridesmaids & Bridal Expo
Geta, Megan & I started the day off at Alfred Angelo trying on dresses. They loved the dresses I picked out and they both looked amazing! Can't wait to see it in the right color!
Then I took the girls for lunch at Tropical Smoothie and we went to the Bridal Expo at the Fort Lauderdale convention center. It was fun but way too loud and over crowded.

2.9.10 - Venue - CHECK!
So we checked out the Stuart Ramada today and while I was considering it... The bar owner completely turned me off to the whole place. I couldn't stomach paying him $.01!
But my friend turned me on to Crystal Dance Hall. A Brand New dance hall in the treasure coast that would be officially opening in March. We took a peek and fell in love. We looked at the prices... and well... we didn't have a heart attack... so we signed a contract and now have our wedding Reception venue!!

1.23-24.10 - Venue Hunt
On Saturday we checked out the Tuckahoe Mansion, The Indian River Civic Center & on Sunday we hit up Pirates Cove. While we liked them all somewhat... none of them felt right or that we would have enough space. So the hunt continues...
1.16.10 - On A Dress Hunt
I found her! She made me cry the second I put her on. Megan and Meghan came with me to look for my wedding dress today. At the first store, I didn't like anything on me and I was starting to get discouraged. But at the second store, Alfred Angelo... I found a few that I liked.. and one that I love so much I could burst!
1.9.10 - Beaches, Sand, Shells
We have been scouting beaches for weeks now... In the freezing cold... because we want a beach wedding. We've been collecting seashells and memories from all the beaches within a 50 mile radius... but hadn't found the one we had a connection to until today. We finally decided on Hobe Sound Beach. So we will have our Ceremony here. Now we just have to find a Reception Venue!
12.31.09 - He asked... I said YES!!!!
OMG OMG OMG!!! Dennis proposed! He had it all planned out... but you know what they say about best laid plans. Read about it in The Proposal.
I am so excited to become his wife and start on our family. I am so happy and blessed to have such a wonderful Fiancé!
